Answers to Common Questions
You can email us or fill out the information on the crate and add on features you want in the contact us section of the website. We will always contact you and discuss or confirm your design (size, options, finishes). We will send an invoice with payment options. A 25% deposit is required before the build can start. We will include in the invoice to verify the size, options, and finish. Once we get approval, we start construction. At this point, we can not offer any refunds. Once the crate is complete we will contact you to discuss delivery or pick up options.
If you’re within driving distance from our shop in Ferguson, Missouri, you are more than welcome to come pick up your kennel to save delivery costs. It’s important to make sure your kennel will fit into your vehicle; for this reason, we feel pick-up trucks are best. A large SUV or Minivan will hold up to our Medium Double Dog Kennel. Many customers have found that renting 5x8 U haul trailer to be an inexpensive option for transporting their furniture if their vehicle won’t hold it.
You should bring: moving blankets, and rope or ratchet straps to secure your kennel for transport. We will be available to help load and secure your kennel.
Our dog crates are made from Natural Pine & Rebar.
All of our finishes are pet safe and durable for decades of use. If you ever need touch up paints or stains Contact us and we can help you.
If using paint, We offer any current Sherman Williams colors. We use a high quality and high traffic paint on our dog crates to provide a great durable finish.
We use an oil-based stain with a water-based polyurethane finish to help your dog crate last a long time. We use Minwax products with many stains options to choose from.
We cannot be liable for chewed up kennels.
*We suggest spraying your kennel with a "no chew spray" such as bitter apple to help prevent your pups from chewing the wood.
We do offer metal edging on all inside edges to offer additional protection.
